Spectrum PP (Polypropylene)
Natural Finish | High Chemical Resistance | Extreme Fatigue Strength | 0.75kg
Spectrum PP (Polypropylene) is one of the most widely used polymers in the global industry, now optimized for high-performance FFF 3D printing. Renowned for its exceptional chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, this filament is the go-to choice for functional labware and industrial chemical containers.
In its Natural state, it provides a technical semi-translucent appearance, allowing users to monitor fluid levels or internal mechanisms. With its low density and high flexibility, Spectrum PP allows you to print parts that are not only lightweight but also virtually unbreakable under repeated stress.
Polypropylene is unique in its ability to withstand hundreds of thousands of flex cycles without cracking. If your design requires integral "living hinges," snap-fit enclosures, or flexible tubing, Spectrum PP is the only material that offers the necessary fatigue resistance.
💧 Hydrophobic & Watertight
Naturally water-repellent, making it ideal for watertight containers, bottles, and fluid-handling systems.
⚖️ Ultra-Low Density
One of the lightest 3D printing materials available (0.90 g/cm³), perfect for weight-sensitive applications.
🛡️ Unrivaled Chemical Shield
Exceptional resistance to a vast array of chemicals, ensuring parts don't degrade in harsh laboratory environments.
✨ Semi-Flex Durability
Balances rigidity with a high degree of elasticity, preventing brittle failure under impact or pressure.
- Chemical-resistant laboratory equipment and funnels
- Industrial fluid containers and customized piping
- Snap-fit packaging and living hinge prototypes
- Lightweight automotive battery housings and ducting
- Medical prototypes requiring sterilization compatibility
- Protective gear and semi-flexible impact absorbers

* Professional Success Tip: Polypropylene is notoriously difficult to adhere to standard build surfaces. For a successful print, we strongly recommend using Polypropylene packing tape on the bed or a specialized PP adhesive. Standard glues or PEI surfaces often fail to bond with PP due to its chemical-inert nature.
