Spectrum FGF Pellet ASA Kevlar is an advanced technical granulated material designed for Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF). By reinforcing a high-grade ASA matrix with Kevlar® (Aramid) fibers, this material achieves a unique balance of thermal stability, UV resistance, and exceptional toughness that traditional carbon or glass-filled filaments cannot match.
Engineered for large-format industrial 3D printing, ASA Kevlar pellets are optimized for the production of durable parts exposed to mechanical shock and harsh outdoor environments. The addition of aramid fibers ensures that printed components remain lightweight while providing superior protection against abrasion and impact.
Unlike carbon fibers which are stiff but brittle, Kevlar fibers provide high energy absorption. This makes parts much less likely to shatter upon impact. Furthermore, Kevlar is non-abrasive, drastically extending the life of your FGF extrusion screw compared to glass or carbon-filled materials.
